Educational and developmental

* This game is geared to help stimulate language development by hearing and learning to listen to language through the parent or caregiver reading the names of the letters, shapes, colors and numbers.

* Providing a secure and responsive learning environment to pre-schoolers who thrive on encouragement given through the Planet Peek-A-Boo Talking Button. This button is pushed after each turn and has eight different encouraging messages from The Peek-A-Boo Crew.

**  Children learn through repetition. Repetition of an experience tends to set neural connections. Children, especially young children, like to repeat certain routines because a young child's brain is "wired" to encourage repetition of sounds, patterns or experiences that provide security, and thus develop strong neural pathways in the brain that become the highways of learning.

***Since the brain develops through hands-on experience during a lifetime, the Big Mat Fun game aids this development by opening the Windows of Learning wider for pre-school children by using an interactive game where a few simple challenges provides the opportunity for:  Strengthening muscles -Nurturing important cognitive listening skills - Developing hand and eye coordination

**** The Big Mat Fun game was created based on studies that have shown: regular exercise and engagement in varieties of physical activity while learning are critical for healthy brain development in children.
